What about me.....

My name is Verónica Romero. I was born in Peñaflor, Chile.

At elementary and high school, I studied at Colegio Inmaculada Concepción in Peñaflor.  I also studied Public Relations for two years but I didn’t finish because I moved to Greece to live with my mother and because I realized I didn’t like Public Relations very much.  When I came back to Chile, I decided to take a Bilingual Secretary course, so after that I worked as a secretary in Codelco and some other mining companies for a while.

My tastes for English language and literature encouraged me to study English Linguistics and Literature at Universidad de Chile where I graduated in 2007. I have worked as an English teacher even before my graduation in 2007 and I recently decided to study pedagogy at Departamento de Estudios Pedagógicos in 2012.

I work a lot but whenever I have some free time, I try to practice sports because I think that having a healthy lifestyle is very important; I go biking, running or swimming. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends.   I like to watch videos on youtube about my favorite singers and bands. I love singing karaoke but I prefer to do it in front of my friends instead of an audience in a karaoke bar.

For today, and as the first post of this semester, you have to write your autobiographies.
